The problem i had with dvds was places like disney were allowed to rerelease movies from their "vault" so then they'd sell the dvds for 30 bucks, even if its just the movie. Used always was a better deal compared to brand new.

Going to a blockbuster with your parents and then grabbing a pizza before going home to eat and watch was a way more fun experience than the movie theater.

At the end you mentioned you should have ordered for your left index finger. Surely they come in a specific size that can be worn on either hand. I didn’t understand that comment.

M1 w/ Sonoma doesn't appear to connect VP 2.0. I believe you need to upgrade M1 to Sequoia beta before VP 2.0 works. Right?

As someone who's a fan of the most volatile form of media on the planet (Anime) physical copies are an absolute MUST. I will ALWAYS own a physical copy of my favorite movies and shows on DVD & Bluray. Streaming has it's place but it has never been and will never be a truly viable replacement for ANYTHING physical, especially here in the States where internet access is spotty at best and outright unavailable at worst...

cant compare blue ray to vinyl, as vinyl masters today are made digitally for an analog format so what you are hearing on the vinyl is a CD master at most times, while blue ray is made for its own format

I used to love Friday nights at blockbusters picking films for the wknd . I only buy physical media , be it games or movies. Digital purchases are more exspensive and you never truly only them .

I use one as a glorified to do list...and I love it! It's used every day, simply pick-up and write anytime. No opening an app or messing around. Has saved me so much time.

I would be willing to save up for the price, but the pen tip wearing down is what dissuades me. I'll splurge, but I want my splurges to be a one and done deal.

Thinking about getting a MacBook to use with my Vision Pro. Can I connect to my laptop while it sits closed in another room but plugged in? So if I have my laptop sitting closed behind me or in another room, can I go to control center in the AVP and connect to it? I have a Bluetooth keyboard I connect to the AVP, and would get a track pad to go with it if I could just connect to it conveniently within the avp without needing to go get the laptop and open it up.

Long term review: Still using the ANNAPRO, and I've ditched the light seal entirely -- now I can use it with my glasses, which is a huge plus (the eye tracking isn't perfect with glasses on, but it's manageable). The forehead position takes some getting used to, and can mess your hair up a bit -- wish there was a way to adjust it, but by no means a dealbreaker. It just feels so much better not having the light seal pressed against my face. It's definitely reduced my AVP fatigue, and I'll be using it as my daily driver.
